Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- What are the Sustainable Development Goals?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global goals established by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These goals aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the earth, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
Each goal has specific targets and indicators to measure progress. The SDGs are integrated and indivisible, meaning that they are all interconnected and that progress in one area can positively impact other areas. The SDGs are also universal, meaning they apply to all countries and all people, regardless of their level of development.
The SDGs provide a framework for governments, businesses, civil society, and individuals to work together to create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.

These are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations:

- International organizations (such as the United Nations and World Bank)
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
- Private sector companies
- Civil society groups and community-based organizations

- When will the SDGs be finalized?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in September 2015 with a deadline of 2030. The SDGs are a 15-year plan to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Therefore, the SDGs will be finalized in 2030. However, it's important to note that the SDGs are not a one-time event or a finite project but an ongoing effort. Even after the SDGs are officially "finalized" in 2030, the work towards achieving their goals will continue.
- Who adopted the SDGs?
The SDGs were adopted by 193 Member States of the United Nations, which committed to taking action to achieve these goals.
