Position Summary: This position oversees the planning, development, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and financial management of all program activities and events and the outcomes sought for WOW program operations. The coordinator cultivates new relationships, communities, and program partnerships. The coordinator supervises and provides administrative leadership by assessing needs, making assignments, and managing multiple projects. The position works collaboratively with WOW Directors to implement improvements, strengthen the program, and advance strategic priorities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Executes all components of events from start to finish, including engagement with WOW program participants, staff, and YG programs.
- Internal Communication coordination of events and programming updates, information, and maintaining calendar invites.
- Assists with research, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Assists with contracts to meet all terms and deliverables.
- Keeps track of all expenses, prepares reports on costs, using existing procedures to solve moderately complex problems as they arise.
- Works to implement ideas for improvements as they are identified in addition to providing post-event feedback on turnout and vendor performance with direction from others.
- Knowledge Maintenance – responsible for maintaining the WOW SharePoint site and maintaining the library of WOW team documents and files.
- Collaborates with program and administrative departments, like finance, IT, and marketing to successfully coordinate all aspects of the special events and programming.
- Report project status on a regular basis to WOW Leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience/Training

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree-related field.

Experience in program management and administration including experience managing budgets and contracts.

2-5 years of work experience in related job discipline.

Intermediate to Advance competency/training in Microsoft Office Suite, Formstack, Smartsheet, Monday.com or other comparable software is preferred.

Experience in relationship management.
