POSITION OVERVIEW
The Feeding South Florida (FSF) Workforce Training Program Manager supports the recruitment and retention of students for FSF's Job Training Programs. The Workforce Training Program Manager will work closely with the respective training managers and department case managers to support student success and assist students in overcoming barriers to access and commitment to program completion and job placement. This position will educate the community on FSF's Job Training Programs, representing the organization at community events and outreach opportunities. The Workforce Training Manager will track outcomes and impact through program evaluation. The ideal candidate has experience working with vulnerable populations and is passionate about moving families from dependency to self-sufficiency.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with our network and the community to promote training programs and monitor recruitment and retention.
Work with department case managers to move students along a business path continuum and receive the social service support necessary for job placement and success.
Ensure the workforce curriculums are executed under their appropriate department, liaising with subject matter experts in the organization to plan and coordinate instructional design of curriculum and materials for training individuals.
Maintain relationships with training partners in the community to enhance program curriculum.
Evaluate training activities regularly and complete an annual assessment of the results of the training program.
Assist with timely and accurate reports including spreadsheets, presentations, and narratives, as needed.
Represent Feeding South Florida at outreach events, community networking opportunities, and resource fairs.
Assist management as necessary.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred).
At least five (5) years of nonprofit, programmatic, or training experience.
Experience working with vulnerable populations preferred.
Sensitivity to diverse populations with the ability to serve people in a compassionate, patient, friendly, and courteous manner, showing sincere interest in people’s concerns.
Ability to clearly communicate and uphold policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, comfort and ability to speak publicly.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff, volunteers, and agency personnel.
Experience and comfort with training and teaching others.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and responsibilities, while simultaneously maintaining composure and ensuring excellent customer service.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
Strong grammar, spelling, and math skills.
Strong moral compass with ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point.
Possession of a current and valid Florida’s driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation: Although organization hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., this Management level position will work closer to 45-50 hours per week, especially during peak times such as holiday seasons, growing seasons and disaster response. After hours business work is required occasionally throughout the year.
Environment: This position works in a typical office setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending; listening, talking and/or visual concentration; writing and/or computer use. Occasional work will occur in the warehouse or outside in fields and warehouses in inclement weather. The noise is the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Travel: FSF serves four counties so there is often same-day travel between the counties, using a personal vehicle, and occasional out of town travel for meetings, conferences, or special events.
OSHA Standards: Lifting requirements are 50 pounds and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load.
