ABOUT US

Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is a dynamic, international non-governmental organization. We work to reduce violence and protect civilians in countries affected by violent conflict and its aftermath through the implementation of unarmed civilian protection programming. NP implements programming through the deployment of civilian protection teams to the field and is continuing to scale up to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve. Programming is founded on unarmed civilian protection and is thematically focused on protection in displacement, child protection, gender-based violence protection, and inter-communal violence reduction.  In Iraq, our programmatic field team in Sinjar, Baaj, Qayyarah, south Mosul, and Zummar is supported by locally recruited national teams and internationally recruited staff. NPIQ has a number of international staff who are responsible for program development and implementation. For the international staff to have access to the different field locations, they must have valid Baghdad visas to be able to move to the federal side of Iraq.

SCOPE OF THE WORK

The service provider will be responsible for :

  • Following up with DNGO, gather the updates on the new instructions related to INGOs.
  • Submitting visa applications, following up with the residency office, and checking on any pending letters.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as liaison/visa facilitator
  • Knowledge of the diverse context
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing circumstances and needs
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and resilience
