About The Role

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Urban Designer to join our design team in our Sydney office. Our collaborative way of working is what makes us different. Our teams are multidisciplinary and fluid, so you will work on varied projects with a range of talented design and urban professionals – continuing to learn and share your insights for the best client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

With a passion for design and ability to build relationships with ease, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical and urban design expertise across the business.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality graphics and documents to drive the best urban outcomes across all projects.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Research, develop and prepare visually compelling plans to convey design concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is an individual who thrives in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment. The role would suit a recent graduate with up to three years’ experience with strong conceptual, design and presentation skills. You will be driven, proactive, results orientated with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve the best results.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Holds relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture or Urban Design or related degree/ discipline (essential).
  • Has proven experience at a similar level or role, ideally up to 3 years.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and willingness to collaborate across all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality documentation.
  • Experience working in Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe suite (InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop). Understands the importance of delivering project outputs on time.
  • Is adaptable & flexible in working across the organisation in various roles and
