About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our habitats team at Ecosulis, learning from our experts onsite as well as developing new skills within the sector. You will provide day to day support to the site team, helping to complete various works onsite including ground preparation, tree planting and creation of a wide range of habitats.

You will also get involved with various tasks onsite including vegetation clearance, grass cutting and mowing, as well as assisting with site deliveries and collections when required.

There may be opportunities to work throughout the UK, but the focus would be to work in and around the Southeast

As this is a trainee position no previous experienced is required. There will be opportunities for training and development including obtaining various site certifications as you develop within this role.

About you

You will need to be a dedicated and committed individual who looks to make a difference within their day-to-day work. Be a good communicator with a can-do attitude will stand you in good stead, to become a valued member of the Ecosulis team with a desire to learn from others to further your own knowledge and skill set.

You will hold a passion for the natural world and a desire to help create biodiverse habitats.

A degree or related qualification in Countryside management, agricultural, landscaping or within a similar field would be an advantage but not essential.

Overview:

  • Job type: Permanent
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 - depending on experience
  • Location: Aylesbury - HP22 4DE (Buckinghamshire)

A full UK driving licence & use of own vehicle would be essential for the role.
