Background
This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience within an international non-profit organization, assisting in terminology processes, especially in maintaining core terminology resources.
CLEAR Global has created and shared a number of open-access, multilingual glossaries to disseminate clear and reliable terminology for country specific or domain specific topics. They are freely available to all people on- and offline. We are looking for volunteer project interns who can support the maintenance and updating of these resources.

The role
To assist the CLEAR Global Team in coordinating glossary maintenance projects, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and within the expectations of CLEAR Global management and principles of terminology. This may involve collaborating on the platform that is used for terminology validation, coordinating with reviewers and validators in various languages, ensuring engagement, appropriate levels of quality and turnaround.

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university degree program (a degree in terminology, language, translation, communication, or a related field is preferred).
Excellent command of English. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage; reading different scripts (especially Arabic) is an advantage
Previous experience in translation and/or terminology (internships and volunteering are considered valid experiences) is desirable;
Previous experience working with non-profit organizations is desirable;
Strong writing skills in English;
Knowledge of CAT tools is a plus.
