Call Centre Agent

What's the role?

• You will chat to people over the phone everyday using a script, and update people on the wonderful work of this international charity.

• You may already be a fundraiser needing a fresh start, or perhaps you have never done a role like this before - either way if you are willing to learn and hungry for success, we want to hear from you today...

• Outbound phone calling - you will speak with hot leads who are members of the public who have expressed an interest in supporting a charity. Your role is to ask them to support our charity with a monthly donation.

Oxfam is a humanitarian aid organisation (charity) that raises funds through its tele fundraising team to help and support those most in need throughout the Pacific region. It could be we are responding to a disaster event and there is an urgent need for immediate aid relief, or we are working with poverty-stricken communities to provide clean water for their daily needs. About you!

You will be a self-starter, confident and a great communicator who can read a script to story-tell in a convincing, inspiring way. A sense of humour will go down well in our team! Schedule:

• Full Day and Part-time evening shifts
• Hours: 12 pm to 8.30 pm (relax in the mornings)
• Monday to Friday (Fridays early finish incentive so you can get your weekend underway)
• No weekends
