Technician Media Preparation

As the Technician Media Preparation you are responsible for preparing the cell culture media for both the R&D and Production Team.  You will work in the Production Support Team which is part of the Process Development Department to advance and scale up our Meat production process.

Together with the team, you will be challenged to produce sufficient amounts of high quality muscle tissue and fat cells with our state-of-the art technology. This cultivated meat will be used in our first prototype end-products.

Together with our multidisciplinary team of scientists and technicians you will plan and execute the media production processes and make sure it meets the criteria and improves where possible. A significant part of your role will be hands-on work in our pilot lab facility.

In order to be successful in this role you need to be a proactive communicator, have a hands on mentality with attention to detail. You need to be flexible and able to change priorities in a dynamic and fast-growing organization. • HLO (higher laboratory education) or comparable education
• Hands-on experience with medium-to-large scale mixing, filtration, and storage equipment for cell culture media is a plus
• Experience in writing SOP and/or WI documentation is a pre
• Experience in working under GMP/GLP is a pre
