A great opportunity exists for an experienced Hydrometallurgical Technical Services Manager for the Li-Cycle Hub in Rochester, NY. As an integral part of the management team and reporting to the Plant Manager, the Technical Process Manager leads the technical group including metallurgists, metallurgical technicians, quality systems, production planning, laboratory, and metallurgical testing facility.
Our ideal candidates will be a driven individual with high attention to detail and organization, and a positive “can-do” attitude.

Core Competencies:
Significant technical knowledge and practical experience of operations in chemical systems, preferably within the field of hydrometallurgy.
Understanding of Process Safety Management systems.
Experience with analytical laboratory systems.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
A leadership disposition and strong supervisory skills.
A can-do, hands-on approach and able to work well to prioritize workload.
Proven ability to Lead a team.
Flexible, adaptable, collaborative and passionate, willing to work across the design, start-up and operations teams.
High-level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Consistently delivers quality work on time, with a strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Exceptional oral communication, writing and editing skills.
Knowledge of engineering workflow process and industry process related software, codes and standards
Demonstrated interest in cleantech, electric vehicles or renewable energy a plus
