We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you get to do:
As a Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will be the face of Uplight to our utility clients during implementation and will be responsible for the overall project delivery and success of Uplight products. You will be the primary point of contact for external and internal stakeholders involved in the project, ensuring that contracted deliverables and milestones are met. You will leverage your knowledge of Uplight’s suite of products to guide clients through the implementation process. As a TPM, partner cross-functionally within Uplight to drive implementation delivery to deadlines, scope, and budget.
To be successful, you’ll need to collaborate with both internal and external resources, including utility program staff, third-party vendors, and Uplight teams. The right candidate needs to be effective at driving results through cross-functional communication and coordination. Overall, we're looking for a TPM who will take charge of client communication and internal project management involved in a launch.

What you will contribute:
Trusted advisor and primary point of contact for our utility clients through the implementation process, managing the execution of the product launches including planning, project management, and client engagement with a focus on delivery to deadline, scope, and budget.
Project management owner, oftentimes managing multiple projects and clients at once.
Proactively communicate project updates both to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
Internal point of contact for launches managing Jira epic and story creation and progress, tracking to deliverables, and/or committed deadlines.
Seamless and timely handoff of client program details to the Operations and Account Management teams after delivery.
Adhere to and reinforce project management best practices and standard operating procedures, including but not limited to launch checklists, project plans, Jira work epics, onboarding documentation, and risk management logs.
Provide feedback for improvement on current implementation processes. Introduce ideas for upstream solutions to recurring problems.
Partner with internal teams to ensure new features are working as intended and free from bugs that would compromise quality and/or delay client delivery
Usher new features through the entire development cycle and drive their success
Proactively communicate with Uplight teams to clearly convey client deliverables and ensure delivery of work as outlined in scopes of work.

Salary Range: $93,000 to $104,000 USD
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
