Technical Presales Lead

We are looking for a Technical Presales Lead to join us on a permanent basis, based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide (with hybrid flexible model).

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your sector knowledge and experience of client and case management while working with senior members of the Client and Case Management (CCM) Delivery team and Customer Engagement Team (CET). You will fulfil an important function in the CCM Delivery team by assisting Infoxchange to win new business and plan successful project solutions and projects. The role will facilitate the presales engagement with customers who are interested in deploying our CCM software from initial contact through to proposal sign off.

About the role

In this role you will apply a sound knowledge of CCM and the community services sector to understand an organisation’s program and service offerings and establish the suitability, size and scope of each opportunity. You will work closely with members of CET to bring new organisations onto CCM and to continuously improve the ability of Infoxchange to win new business. As such, this role is a significant revenue contributor to the Community Sector Product Services and Technology team for Infoxchange.

You will also work closely with the Delivery team to ensure that a customer’s high-level needs are understood and a proposal presented to a customer describe well-scoped and meaningful projects that fit the customer’s needs and capabilities. You will identify the appropriate starting point for an implementation based on customer needs and describe the scope, price and timeline inputs for the proposals before handing over to a project team to deliver the work.

You will:

  • Serve as the CCM Delivery team subject matter expert throughout presales engagements with prospective customers
  • Work with the CET to size and qualify leads
  • Utilise sector knowledge, and Infoxchange’s expertise, to analyse customer programs, services and needs, and define the high-level scope of an opportunity
  • Support CET throughout the sales cycle, with product and technical expertise and by leading product demonstrations
  • Lead the development CCM proposals, coordinating descriptions of project scope, price, and timelines
  • Determine the appropriate starting point for analysis and/or deployment project phases based on your understanding of the customer needs and the high-level scope
  • Work with the CCM Delivery team to manage and communicate lead times for new CCM projects to all stakeholders
  • Document information about the customer scope and project consistently for thorough handover to the delivery team
  • Assist the CCM Delivery team to respond to new requests from existing customers
  • Manage and prioritise presales activities across multiple opportunities
  • Provide continuous visibility of pipeline and work in progress to stakeholders

About you

  • To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience working with software or SaaS applications
  • Ability to size and qualify leads from new and existing customers
  • Experience participating in sales activities, including the ability to provide product demonstrations and respond to informal and formal RfX
  • Sound knowledge of how customer centric business processes are supported by CCM software
  • Relevant leadership experience defining and scoping customer solutions
  • Bid management experience an advantage
  • Strong understanding of the community services sector
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and negotiation techniques
  • Ability to engage with abstract concepts and intangible requests and ground them in concrete examples, clear descriptions and actions
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate through uncertainty
  • Ability to work independently on complex work, while acting as a team player
  • Able to manage competing priorities and expectations across internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship building and persuasive presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
