Technical Data Analyst Waukesha Engines

🇺🇸 Wisconsin, WI, US 📝 FULL-TIME

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze customer data remotely as part of a Remote Operating Center (ROC) AND proactively identify machine anomalies and notify customers with recommendations.

• Develop and test analytics to strengthen the digital services value proposition, while minimizing internal cost

• Develop effective internal and external communications to provide guidance on major issue resolution.

• Work with engineering to monitor new analytics and updates

• Support new product validation testing

• Monitor and track customer KPIs

• Create and communicate custom reports for specific customers

• Support APM connectivity and become knowledgeable with APM hardware

• Support myPlant APM connectivity for INNIO Waukesha, this includes coordinating hardware requirements, coordinating with customers, coordinating with INNIO teams (PLM, Engineering, Digital, and Controls)

• Provide technical assistance, failure analysis, and troubleshooting to channel partners and customers for all Waukesha engine products via phone, email and through internal Issue Resolution systems

• Provide technical data and information to channel partners and customers

• Participate in the root cause analysis process by providing data when requested, attending review meetings and communicating solutions to the field support teams

• Attend training courses and review training materials as requested

• Adapt to changing site conditions/requirements to be able to order the right hardware, effectively direct customers, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Qualifications/ Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technical Degree from a University or Technical College plus minimum of two year’s work experience OR an Associate degree in related technical field plus minimum of 3 year’s work experience.

· Ability and willingness to travel 30% of time, domestically and internationally, as required

· Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. We will not sponsor individuals now, or in the future, for this job

· Demonstrated ability to work with a cross-functional teams

· Strong customer relation skills

· Strong problem solving skills

· Strong Communication Skills

· Commercial sensitivity with a focus on customer needs

· Project Management experience

· Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, TCP, CAN and OPC

· Wiring, hardware and communication troubleshooting experience

· Interest in developing IoT platforms, ability to derive insights from data, and use insights to optimize business/team performance
