NRDC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer to work with the Talent Acquisition team in any of our NRDC offices.

As a Talent Engagement and Sourcing Specialist on our Talent Acquisition team you will work cross-functionally to identify, engage and highlight top talent for key roles across our organization. You’ll support Talent Acquisition Partners, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and leverage best practices in order to support our talent goals. Your work will directly impact Talent Acquisition behaviors and hiring decisions. Responsibilities

  • Build candidate pipelines for unique and specialized roles across NRDC’s varied teams
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies, partnering with Talent Acquisition Partners and analyzing role requirements to determine target candidate profile needs
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies, including leveraging your knowledge of organizations, platforms, and networks, to attract and engage top talent
  • Develop strategies and processes for attracting and networking with diverse candidate slates
  • Maintain a network of potential candidates through thoughtful engagement practices, building candidate rapport through trust, and acting as a candidate advisor throughout the recruitment process
  • Track and analyze data on sourcing and conversion efforts to understand the efficacy of sourcing strategies and drive improvements as needed
  • Represent NRDC’s culture and values in interactions with candidates, partners and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 3+ years relevant experience in a talent research or recruiting role; experience recruiting for leadership talent required
  • Ability to work independently and proactively problem solve, developing creative approaches to sourcing and engaging candidates
  • Experience developing and tracking sourcing KPIs, analyzing sourcing and talent data and creating compelling stories from data that impact behaviors
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in hiring practices
  • Demonstrated excellence and passion for creating a delightful candidate experience
  • Enthusiasm for proactively networking and establishing effective working relationships with professional networks and affinity groups
  • Detail-oriented in approach to all tasks, whether mundane or mission critical
  • Appreciate productivity and have a sense of urgency; you’re a believer in Getting Stuff Done
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills

We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary is based on a nonprofit scale and is commensurate with skills and experience. Internal equity will be reviewed and considered to determine a final offer. For this position, the salary range is $83,000 to $90,000.

Our offices are open and we are operating in a hybrid model. We offer NRDCers flexibility, and we ask them to come into the office and spend meaningful time there in collaboration with their colleagues. We call this purposeful presence.
