Overview
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Major Function
Conducts full life-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening and selection of candidates for administrative, professional and management positions. Supports recruitment for both U.S. as well as international positions. Assists the Talent Acquisition Manager in the management and completion of recruitment projects. The TA Specialist will serve as an adviser to hiring managers and employees on matters of TA best practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Leads all recruitment efforts with the Latin America and Caribbean team regarding international recruitments. Provides recruitment strategies in order to target regional and international hires. Works closely with the International HR Business Partner in order to manage issues around salaries and benefits for international hires.
- Meets with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategy for each assigned position. Manages the recruitment process to include sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, assessment, and extending candidate offers. Notifies candidates that were interviewed but not selected, and closes out the position according to WWF policy.
- Educates managers on interviewing techniques and best practices, strategies for making a good hiring decision, and the procedures used for a streamlined process. Builds relationships with internal customers to better understand customer needs and is proactive regarding counsel on issues such as recruiting, organizational structure, individual and team development, job design, and job descriptions.
- Ensures the hiring process for each position is handled in an efficient and effective timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; equivalent work experience can be substituted.
- A minumum of 4-6 years of experience in a talent acqusitition role is required including experience with international recruitments
- Proactive customer-service centric to ensure an extraordinary candidate and hiiring manager experience.
- Excellent organization skills, with sttention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of staff and external candidates
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An aptitude for problem-solving, decision-making
- A working knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations
- Familiarity with on-line recruiting tools is strongly preferred.
