JOB OVERVIEW
The Systems Administrator will structure, manage, and maintain the organization’s technology infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s CRM software, Google Workspace, and other systems. In addition, this individual will lead staff training and monitor compliance to ensure that systems operate efficiently and securely and that all users are updated with the latest software and hardware. This individual will be working within a 40+ person organization with 20,000+ CRM records.
The Systems Administrator will report to the Director of Operations as a part of the Operations department, responsible for ensuring the organization has platforms, processes, and procedures to achieve its goals. This position may be a Senior Manager depending on a candidate’s qualifications.
We expect this individual to adhere to the Alliance’s hybrid work schedule, working both remotely and from our office in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the selection, development, and implementation of a second-generation CRM system
- Evaluate CRM options and lead the transition from the organization’s current CRM (Airtable).
- Customize and configure the CRM system to meet the organization’s specific needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define CRM requirements and implement necessary system enhancements.
- Train and support staff on CRM system usage, ensuring effective utilization across the organization.
- Manage, maintain, and improve all technology systems, including the CRM, Google Workspace, Slack, and other systems.
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features with an eye toward growth, streamlining, and usability.
- Work skillfully with integration platforms to ensure effective automation of workflow processes.
- Manage and maintain all technological equipment, including staff computers and accessories, network equipment, office printers, and conference room technology.
- Lead staff training to ensure compliance with best practices and support user and license management and ensure compliance with best practices through staff training, staff support, and tracking.
- Interface with various technology vendors, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Monitor the ecosystem for emerging technologies, critically evaluate these technologies, and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Manage, create, and improve documentation related to technology and systems, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing and data validation of system enhancements as needed.
- Provide technological support to the staff in a variety of areas.
- These duties may change or expand over time consistent with our organization’s needs and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of technology and systems experience.
- 3+ years of experience in implementing and administering an organization’s CRM platform.
- Experience in the administration and monitoring of Google Workspace.
- Experience and understanding of all delivery methodologies, including hybrid agile delivery, Kanban, SAFe, and traditional project management methodologies, are a plus.
- Experience in managing migrations between core infrastructure and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience with integration platforms such as Zapier.
