System Owner - Human Capital Management

Job Summary:

Reporting to ERP Manager the System Owner – Human Capital Management will be instrumental in designing and supporting our HCM system landscape. This is a unique opportunity to integrate different HR processes by using the Oracle HCM platform to enable it. You will bring your domain knowledge to help build our Oracle HCM footprint and develop our roadmap.

As a systems specialist, you will be the ultimate owner of our HCM system processes and flows and will be responsible in delivering value to our growing Li-Cycle team through continuous business process optimization.

Our ideal candidate will be a driven individual with high attention to detail and organization, and a positive “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Possessing a deep understanding of our current business processes as well as the localized differences
  • Developing relationships with key business users
  • Gathering and analyzing business process requirements
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations by keeping them abreast of any new challenges/decisions
  • Liaising with the system integrator and the Li-Cycle business team to design and test the different functionalities for future processes
  • Staying up to date with Oracle HCM fusion cloud features and upgrades
  • Developing, testing and managing integrations with other applications
  • Supporting applications post-implementation and providing knowledge transfer to internal users
  • Having the ability to troubleshoot, analyzing problems and debugging system errors
  • Leading the delivery of all HCM application enhancements, updates, and deployments

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with HCM solutions such as Oracle Taleo, Oracle HCM, Oracle Workforce management etc. or any other applications is a must.
  • Understanding of HR processes and policies either as systems administrator or consultant is a must.
  • Expertise in one or the multiple modules of HCM including Recruitment, Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management is a must.
  • Prior experience with system implementation preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and ability to create reports in OTBI preferred
  • Oracle Cloud certification in one or more HCM Cloud functions is nice to have
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport and maintaining relationships
