We focus on access to health products and services in underserved communities through a three-part model. We’ve built an app that works offline, operating in rural areas to equip community health workers to form a network of field agents. They collect data on health needs, which is used to design and implement targeted awareness and screening campaigns and enable supply of affordable medicines and products to rural pharmacies and stores, and we are now looking for someone to help grow the range of products and partners that we will help commercialize and distribute in low- and middle-income settings.

Who are we looking for?

Title: Africa Supply Chain Manager

Reporting to:  India Supply Chain Manager

reach52 is seeking a Supply Chain Manager that will support reach52’s mission to build access to healthcare for 52% of the world, who currently cannot access it.  You will be responsible for supporting the supply chain of medicines from our Indian manufacturing partners to our distribution partners in Africa.

The core role scope and responsibilities of the role will be:

Price and volume negotiations

You will be responsible for negotiating prices and volumes for key commodities to be purchased and distributed and will be the primary point of contact for our African-based access managers.

Packaging design

You will work with the Indian packaging teams to ensure that the correct packaging and labels are created for specific African markets.

Regulatory submissions

You will coordinate with the African regulatory team to procure and deliver samples of products for registration purposes in all of our regulatory jurisdictions.

Order processing

You will liaise between the African Access Managers and the Indian manufacturing partners to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.

Forecast management

You will oversee the forecasts coming out of African distribution partners, consolidate, and coordinate with Indian suppliers to ensure that appropriate lead time is given and that minimum order quantities are met.

Who you are (probably!)

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, business, manufacturing or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical supply chain management
• Knowledge and experience with Indian contract manufacturers
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using order management software and tools
