The Supplier Quality Team Leader (m/f/d) is responsible for implementing strategies to drive exceptional product quality, ensure regulatory compliance, increase customer value beyond expectations and optimize cost of quality. This includes operational responsibility of some critical suppliers, including supplier selection, supplier auditing and supplier development, as well as hiring, training and developing a team of highly qualified Supplier Quality Engineers.

Your Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, lead and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and monitor individual and team performance
- Set team objectives and goals that are aligned with those of the overall supplier quality and business goals
- Responsibility for critical suppliers on supplier quality: conduct supplier audits, lead qualification projects with a focus on defect prevention, lead and support quality case projects and dispose supplier deviation requests and non-conformity
- Execute supplier development projects to improve the capabilities and performance of suppliers and increase the supply chain resilience
- Work effectively with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality and delivery of sourced components
- Initiate, lead and support sourcing quality initiatives, drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base
Your Profile:
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in a technical field e.g. engineering, mechanical or similar; combination of technical and economical degree is an option
- Very good and long-term working experience in supply chain, (supplier) quality or engineering, in an internationally operating company preferably in a formal or informal leadership position
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organisational and project management skills
- Proven track record of project execution, problem solving (e.g. Q-cases) and (informal) leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions based on data analysis
- Ideal but not necessary knowledge of INNIO Jenbacher Gas Engines products, engine components and their manufacturing processes, Jenbacher business network, initiatives, programs and systems
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time across Europe and/or globally
- Fluent in English, German or other languages are a plus
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.112,78 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
