The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for high product quality, customer value beyond expectations, regulatory assurance and optimized cost of quality. This role is the technical focal point for supplier activities that aim at increasing process control and quality assurance of purchased parts/components in order to strenghten the cooperation between INNIO and its suppliers.

Your Responsibilities:
- Act as primary interface between suppliers and INNIO internal functions and work in collaboration with sourcing, manufacturing, and engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers.
- Conduct supplier audits and ensure that suppliers comply with quality procedures, standards and technical regulations.
- Execute qualification projects for new parts and new suppliers with focus on failure prevention. Participate in design & tollgate reviews.
- Plan and control efforts to reduce product defects and cost of quality, participate in or lead root cause analyses when necessary and dispose supplier deviation requests and non-conformities.
- Support supplier development activities: drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers and provide quality input for supplier scorecards.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor´s degree in a technical field
- Quality-based mindset, discrete thinking and problem solving
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
- Desired: Experience in quality management, project management, with Oracle ERP Systems and in faciliating meetings
- Upper-intermediate language level in English and German and a valid work permit for Austria
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.093,91 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
