ELEVATE is looking for a talented Supervisor to assist various CSR activities. The position will support CAP (Correction Action Plan) & SAQ (Self-Assessment Questionnaire) services to drive social compliance and responsible sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

You will be a representative for desktop assessment team in China, improving factory engagement and cultural competency on CSR by processing CAP (Correction Action Plan) & SAQ (Self-Assessment Questionnaire) reports in ELEVATE / client’s system.

CAP Management (80%)

  • Work directly with supplier to implement corrective actions, with a focus on de-escalating critical issues
  • Cooperate with suppliers and, provide detail suggestions on how to improve its social, environmental and security compliance performance
  • Support and educate supplier to develop a workable and acceptable corrective action plan
  • Review CAP according to local laws and client’s specific requirement
  • Verify corrective action evidence via desktop review
  • Take overall ownership and accountability to ensure assigned reports / CAP cases are processed on a timely basis in an efficient way
  • Track key performance metrics such as CAP completion, evidence, closure rates, issue Management, impact on future audit scores, etc.
  • Make recommendations for eLearning and other worker training opportunities

SAQ Management (20%)

  • Manage scalable SAQ programs for local supplier in timely manner
  • Be familiar with SAQ data and document requirements and conduct training sessions to supplier groups
  • Initiate and communicate with supplier on SAQ including system setup and support
  • Perform pre-verification review to ensure essential information is provided
  • Conduct verification call to walkthrough the data and documents with supplier to enhance the accuracy
  • Generate verified SAQ report to conclude supplier risk

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years solid and track record of CSR auditing and Supplier-oriented Cooperate Social Responsibility Programs, experience on CAP Management is required
  • Strong knowledge of local labor, health and safety and environmental laws including China and Asian countries as well as CSR standards such as BSCI, SMETA, SLCP, etc.
  • High degree of work ethics and integrity
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented & organized
  • Independent and responsible as well as ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Extraordinary problem-solver with critical analytical mindset, able to meet tight deadline and work under high pressure
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Willing to review at due diligence and excellent time management
  • Qualified SA8000 and/or ISO14001 Auditor are absolute advantage
