We are seeking a Marketing Summer Intern to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you get to do:
As an intern on Uplight’s Industry Marketing team you’ll get experience in a variety of different marketing disciplines––all while helping utilities decarbonize. You’ll get to learn about our products (including demand response), services, customers, and enabling technologies to write blog posts for the Uplight website, develop compelling marketing assets, help design engaging presentations, and plan for upcoming events, advertising, and campaigns.

Strong alignment and passion for the Uplight values and mission
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications (recommended)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites, particularly PowerPoint/Google slides, Excel/Google Sheets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and work in a, distributed team environment
Flexibility to support multiple projects with different deadlines at once
Detail oriented and able to effectively proofread all written communications and deliverables
Bonus points:
Salary Range: $18/hr - $20/hr (dependent on experience)
