Summer 2025 Internal Events Internship

Earthjustice’s Internal Events team is seeking applications from undergraduate students in their junior or senior year for one part-time internal events internship during summer 2025. This is a paid, hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, CA office.

The Internal Events intern will work with the Internal Events team to support the planning of Earthjustice’s All Staff Meeting – a 600-person, multi-day, in-person event for the organization, which will be hosted in September 2025 in San Francisco, CA. The intern will take on various event-planning tasks to help the Internal Events team prepare during the summer, such as building out event websites, drafting communications, planning menus and recreational activities, etc.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Internal Events Planner, the intern will assist with:

  • Building online spaces, such as registration and event information pages.
  • Drafting event-related communications to various stakeholders.
  • Tracking RSVPs.
  • Planning menus and recreational activities.
  • Fielding scheduling and special accommodation requests.
  • Supporting event presenters with their materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a college/university program and will be a junior or senior during the 2025-26 academic year.
  • Commitment of 12-16 hours/week for 10-12 weeks.
  • Possess excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Have working knowledge of online research and MS Office programs.
  • Work effectively on a team and be able to drive projects to completion.
  • Be willing and able to learn new skills and subject areas.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and orientations.

Compensation:

Internships at Earthjustice are paid. Undergraduate students will receive $18.67/hour, less applicable taxes.
