Purpose of the role:

As a Structured Adsorbent Bed (SAB) Co-op, you will support the execution of product and technology development projects within the portfolio of the Structured Adsorbent Bed design team.  Using internal and external resources, you will be responsible to ensure assigned projects and tasks are completed successfully as per the requirements, as defined by the SAB team lead, SAB senior engineer and other internal suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are currently enrolled in mechanical engineering or similar degree.

• You are familiar with CAD software tools and FEA, especially Creo and ANSYS.

• You have excellent grasp of first principles in mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

• You have fabrication and rapid prototyping skills and experience.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

• You have proficiency with open-source software tools such as Python (especially scientific libraries) and web development.

What success looks like in this role:

• You will support the SAB Design team to develop areas of key technical competency required for Svante Laminates and Structured Adsorbent Beds to successfully meet current and future requirements.
• You will execute development projects and tasks including product and prototype development, construction and testing; technology research; material qualification; failure investigation and analysis.
• You will perform data analysis and reporting on experimental and operational data.
