What is the opportunity?
The Strategic Production Manager (Manager, Strategic Production) plays a vital role in bringing a superior level of organization and service to the ministry’s Marketing and Communications team. This role will strategically assess and discern projects, evaluating each based on fit and ROI; prioritize projects based on staff time and department budget; coordinate and delegate tasks; and monitor deliverables. The Strategic Production Manager supports Marketing, Creative, Public Relations, and Content teams as a project traffic coordination manager, coordinating with team members and internal clients. This full-time position can be based in Charleston, SC, or remotely and reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications.
A successful Strategic Production Manager will perform the following:
General Administrative Duties
Marketing and Communications Duties
Serve as the gatekeeper for all project requests, strategically evaluating requests based on fit, ROI, and staff capacity.
Coordinate projects by developing timelines, assigning tasks, and communicating with stakeholders to implement strategic marketing visions.
Facilitate project kick-off meetings to develop project scope, timelines, and expectations. Provide comprehensive meeting notes and action items.
Work with Project Managers, coordinating project deliverables and timelines to ensure deadlines are reasonable and met and escalating problems as necessary.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed, including with printers.
Act as the first internal reviewer.
Understand and implement brand guidelines and standards.
Collect and report on project data as requested.
Identify the benefits, costs, and risks associated with each solution.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required.
Five or more years of professional experience in a corporate or nonprofit environment. Three or more years of marketing or project management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional people skills and high level of professionalism and client service.
Ability to build consensus and translate complex ideas.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Experience in database management.
Experience in project management software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
Flexibility to work periodic nights and weekends as required for ministry operations.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Home internet bandwidth strong enough to support video conferencing and other job-related responsibilities required.
