Job Summary
The Supply Chain Specialist is part of the Textile Exchange Standards team, the department that is responsible for the development and maintenance of various textile industry-leading voluntary sustainability standards, used for independent auditing and certification. This position will serve as our team expert on the Content Claim Standard (CCS), Textile Exchange’s chain of custody standard, which is the foundation of all of Textile Exchange’s standards. Today, it provides requirements for chain of custody in textile supply chains as well as approved non-textile scopes. The CCS will continue to play a critical role as Textile Exchange harmonizes its standards into a more unified standard system.
The Supply Chain Specialist will have a strong foundation and expertise with chain of custody standards, also working on related topics covering uptake and context of the standard, related policies that support the implementation of the standard, and will provide team support on systems maintenance across all standards.
Like all roles at Textile Exchange, the role will be primarily home-based. Textile Exchange is a US-based, remote-working organization with a global team. This position is open to domestic and international candidates. The majority of the Standards team is based in North America, and some overlap of working hours with the US Pacific Standard Time zone is required.
