SWCA Environmental Consulting & Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Ecosystem Restoration Engineer with a passion for river restoration, geomorphology, nature based resiliency and surface water quality. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can contribute to the growth of our surface water and ecological restoration practice in Indiana, as well as support SWCA’s hydraulic modeling and ecological restoration projects throughout the U.S. The ideal candidate will have experience in nature based stormwater design, flood resiliency, stream, wetland, and tidal marsh restoration and coastal/living shoreline design projects.
This position will be based in Indiana. Projects will include sites throughout the Midwest, and support other project sites across the country. The position will entail travel on occasion to assess project sites and collect field data.

An employee in this Chicago, IL based position can expect an hourly rate range of $29.93 to $38.85/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
