In this role, you will: Join a dynamic and progressive team of HR professionals supporting a global business in achieving recruitment and retention targets. You will act as a member of the Human Resources team supporting activities related to attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top talent. Partnering with HR, training and development and EHS, you will use your unique experience and creativity to assist in creating a one-of-a-kind onboarding experience. This position requires working knowledge of full cycle recruitment and related HR processes. This role will support recruiting activities in Welland and United States and will be reporting to the country HR Manager In this role, you will be responsible for:
Be the first point of contact for new employees supporting them through the recruitment and onboarding process.
Support the administration of the recruitment process: developing job descriptions, posting roles, coordinating candidate interviews with hiring managers, providing recruitment training for hiring managers and onboarding new employees.
Design and implement multi-channel sourcing strategies to meet evolving needs of the business, including strategies for sourcing highly skilled and technical talent.
Manage the recruitment and selection process by coordinating feedback from all stakeholders during decision making and advising on appropriate compensation packages, salary negotiation and offer conditions.
Conduct pre-screens and phone screens of potential candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers and HR managers of suggested short list and track all recruiting stages to provide updates as needed.
Ensuring processes, interview guides and document control is compliant to laws and regulations.
Provide insightful analysis of recruiting reports and make recommendations for improvements when assessing metrics per the assigned business unit or function.
Coordinating and filing all appropriate documents within appropriate systems and ensuring data is captured efficiently and accurately.
Ensure accurate records of employee data and files and support any reporting requests as needed.
Support HR administration of employee processes and communication relating to pay, benefits, and other employee lifecycle activities.
Your Profile:
Outgoing and friendly with a willingness to be adaptable and “pivot” when the business needs
Strategic in thinking with the ability to look ahead and be proactive
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a related discipline with relevant HR experience.
5-10 years progressive recruiting experience
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems: Jobvite and/or Workday

Experience in HR program delivery and facilitation of HR programs across multiple client groups.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions using good judgement and discretion.
Strong attention to detail with exceptional organization and documentation skills to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
Professional Human Resources certification an asset.
