ROLE OVERVIEW:
Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance is charged with the overall financial health and success of the division. Ensures that the division’s financial systems are robust and compliant, and support current activities and future growth considerations. The position is responsible for high-level strategy: contributing fully to the development of the company approach across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers. The role is also highly operational: ensuring budgeting processes are carried out, cash management policies are implemented, and all corporate regulatory policies are compliant and completed at a level of excellence. Collaborates closely with senior teams and the global cohort of Finance team and therefore considers and supports the global priorities of GrainPro Inc. Reports directly to the Global Controller / Vice President of the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: At GrainPro India, we just started our operations and are looking for a young finance professional, who wishes to grow with us, taking up all challenges in building up an excellent business for the GrainPro India division.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Coursework in finance and accounting is preferred.
About 7 - 12 years of directly related finance experience, and/ or combination of training.
Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels. Able to exercise strong judgment, decision-making, and good governance.
Strong planning and organizational skills: planning ahead, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking. Able to juggle multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Extensive knowledge of managing budgets and expenses in a global context.
Strong track record of proactively solving problems. Ability to think and act creatively in the pursuit of business growth and success.
Skilled in Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office Suite, and particularly agile in Excel.
Skilled in using new technologies, including online communication platforms, such as Zoom video conferencing.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills.
Fluent in English speech, writing, and reading. Proficiency in other languages spoken in the continent is an advantage.
Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
Able to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support international time zone collaboration.
Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude.
