You will have an important contribution to the order intake in the region by adhering to the risk management process and have a close information exchange with the Sales Region Leader. The responsibility includes the improvement of the support to the sales team for them to be able to spend more time externally with customers and develop opportunities for driving our top-line, on New Units and Services.
**Essential Responsibilities :

Tools and Processes
• Use and maintain sales tools
• Create technical specifications with support of relevant software
• Perform technical and commercial calculations with support of various applications (e.g. calculation of gas analysis, engine efficiency, project financial feasibility)
• Own deals through the risk management process (e. g. present deals in deal reviews) • Initiate / participate / lead „risk reviews“
Documents and Quotes
• Maintain and keep up to date standardized sales documents (e.g. country-specific price lists, specifications, contract templates…)
• Tender preparation and management • Elaborate technical and commercial special release documents for project specific changes deviating from our standard product program
• Support of the sales and teams on quotes • Independent creation of quotes for complex projects/BOP
• Create project specific offers / calculations / configurations / handover to production, etc. with the support of ERP system
• Prepare project specific sales contracts and relevant documents (calculations, specifications, …)
Feedback and Handover
• Check of technical conformity of our products • Initiate product adaptions per country-specific requirements
• Prepare handover of won projects to project management
Knowledge Transfer and Regional Leadership and Support
• Manage the teams within the assigned region with setting targets and executing towards the INNIO operating plan
• Train regional sales and teams on processes, sales tools, products
• Provide technical and commercial support to regional sales and teams and participate in negotiations with customers
• Develop regional team and ensure know how transfer to the regional team
• Lead Commercial operations for New Units and Services, and Application Engineering for the region
• Strongly contribute to a regional commercial strategy (key customers, key projects, sales initiatives, etc.) by regular information exchange with Sales Region Leader
Qualifications / Requirements:
• >10 years of experience in relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engines
• Experience in elaborating complex technical and/or commercial tasks - interdisciplinary thinking/acting
• Used to work in process-orientated environment
• Capability to support and train regional teams
• Willingness to travel in the assigned territory (30 %)
• Detail orientated, precise working style
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization
• Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with INNIO software applications a plus
**Academic requirements:
**• Engineering degree (Electrical or mechanical) and/or Commercial degree
Languages:
• Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
