Sr. Accountant

Neighborhood Sun Benefit Corp. seeks Sr. Accountant.

Master's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required.  36 months of accounting experience at a Big Four Accounting Firm.  Experience must have involved audit duties, and involved work with the Technology or Energy industry.

Must have passed all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination administered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

Job duties: A. Accounting Oversight
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, tax filings, and compliance reports.
• Manage cash flow and financing activities to support business needs.
• Improve monthly close and reporting processes.
B. Financial Planning & Analysis
• Lead FP&A efforts, including budgeting and profitability assessments.
• Analyze financial trends and variances, providing insights for business improvements.
• Support M&A activities through due diligence and integration.
C. Identify opportunities to optimize systems and recommend new solutions.
• Manage billing for solar projects and report on performance metrics.
• Utilize analytics for project management, develop company’s core asset and explore new revenue streams.
Salary per year: $123,989/year
Worksite: Silver Springs, MD.  Please note that full-time remote work from anywhere in the United States is permitted.
