Earthjustice’s Sustainable Food & Farming Program is accepting applications for one part-time scientific research intern for spring 2024. We will accept applications from graduate students who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment. This is a paid position. The successful candidate may work remotely or on a hybrid schedule from one of Earthjustice’s offices.

The Sustainable Food and Farming Program works to improve our nation’s food system, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural activities, incentivizing climate-friendly practices, regulating pollution from industrial animal facilities, and ensuring safer farming practices for farmers, farmworkers, communities, and consumers. The intern will work closely with our team’s staff scientist, policy and communication experts, and lawyers to support litigation and policy through scientific and technical research on environmental, climate, health, and social aspects of the U.S. food system.

Internships at Earthjustice are paid. Graduate students will receive $25.45/hour, less applicable taxes.
