WWF-Hong Kong is looking for Specialist / Senior Specialist, Payroll and HR Operations, being one of the key players in executing the entire payroll process for full and part-time employees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and adhering to the organizational code of conduct.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate accurate and timely salary disbursement by accurately managing monthly payroll of all employees which including taxes, employee benefits, and other payroll deductions through Human Resources Management System (HRMS) to reviewing payroll policies.
- Prepare annual payroll reports to assess the reliability and efficiency of the payroll system.
- Through HRMS, prepare annual tax filings for the organization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of the entire payroll processing system.
- Act as a payroll advisor to the other teams.
- Assist in improving the overall HR data and system planning and control.
- Ensure legal compliance is always maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering payroll-related questions and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure employee records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Participate in ad hoc and special projects to improve payroll processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or any other related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the payroll field.
- Excellent communication, time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and operational experience in HRMS are an added advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local laws and regulations.
- Hands-on experience in handling payroll and compliance.
