As a Sourcing Expeditor you will be responsible for planning and performing expediting activities to ensure the timely delivery of materials to meet new unit and reman production and service order requirements.

In this position you will be responsible for:
- Working within the Materials Planning team remotely
- Proactively performing expediting activities to ensure the delivery of materials to production / service demand by system need date
- Confirming accuracy of supplier promised dates and updating the stakeholders and Oracle with the pertinent information
- Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order
- Coordinating transportation and logistics, as required
- Attending daily production status meetings as required
- Strategize and oversee activities related to receiving and dispatching shipments
- Performing other duties as requested
- Developing and maintaining status reports
Requirements:
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant or experience (also internship) in logistics – supply chain or procurement
- Experience in a Purchasing/ Planning Supply Chain in production environment
- Excellent English skill is a must (written and spoken)
- German language knowledge is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving and decision making skills
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment
