THE ROLE:  The Solutions Architect is critical to the design, supports and management of key internal business applications and will report into the Director of Business Automation and Finance Tool Enablement. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and implement software analytics and business automation applications
  • Coordinate the collection of requirements gathering across multiple business areas during the application design process
  • Support executive management data analytics requests
  • Assist team members in resolving technical and internal customer issues
  • Monitor and troubleshoot critical issues and outages related to team applications
  • Document and develop business automation processes to optimize process efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study or Business Information Systems
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or Javascript preferred
  • Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs
  • Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
  • Expert level experience defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a solution that achieves desired business outcomes
  • Experience documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
  • Ability to rapidly learn and implement new concepts, business models and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
  • Active listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles
  • Strong executive presence

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is mainly in an office environment (hybrid schedule) but may visits and interactions at a manufacturing/field sites where use of PPE, exposure to hazardous materials, and loud noises may be present. In addition, this role may require travel at an estimated 10% of your time.
