About the role:

Ecosulis are seeking to recruit knowledgeable and experienced site supervisor with excellent on site and construction experience, based in the Dorset area for a large multi-faceted project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that a large earthworks projects completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Supervising workers and subcontractors onsite within a fast paced environment.
  • Experience working on large scale groundwork or landscaping projects, as well as good knowledge across both sectors.
  • Maintaining communication and information between Site Manager and to the site teams.
  • Liaising with the Site and Project Manager on day-to-day progress
  • Managing orders and deliveries.
  • Organising staff work schedules.
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely.
  • Ensuring ITP records and daily paperwork are completed for site reporting.

About you:

As our Site Supervisor you will have a flexible hands-on approach to your work, ensuring productivity onsite is always at the highest standard achievable. A strong attention to detail as well as ensuring an inclusive team environment will be a key focus. You will ideally have a passion for the natural world and have the desire to make a difference.

What experience & qualifications will you require:

  • SSSTS/SMSTS - minimum 3 years supervision experience.
  • CSCS Card
  • First aid (desirable)
  • Previous construction project experience. Including earthworks and working alongside heavy machinery.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Experience with setting out and laser levels.

More information:

  • Job type: Fixed Term Contract  6 months (Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week)
  • Start date: April 2024
  • Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
  • Location: Poole, Dorset (BH20 5BJ)
