Service Coordinator - Solar - Full-Time

SkyFire Energy is seeking a highly motivated and capable team member to join our growing Service division. In this role you will be working with an experienced team in a fast-paced environment on exciting opportunities, both large and small, that make positive impacts in the communities with which we work.

The candidate best suited to this position will have strong customer service skills and the ability to efficiently and effectively manage a consistent, and at times heavy workload, under the direction of the Service Manager. The ideal candidate will have electrical service experience and competencies with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients in a professional, yet personable manner. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a passion for renewable energy and the renewable energy industry; along with progressive workplace experience and accountability in a previous role(s).

Primary duties include:

  • Respond to customer service requests via telephone and email correspondence
  • Troubleshoot system issues remotely and determine next steps
  • Initiate and coordinate RMA procedures with manufacturers and distributors
  • Create project documentation
  • Work with SkyFire Procurement Department to ensure product supply
  • Work with SkyFire Construction Managers to schedule service and warranty work
  • Work with SkyFire Finance Department to close out invoicing
  • Work with Service Manager to create Residential and Commercial proposals and processes
  • Visit sites periodically to assist with troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with electrical and/or solar installations
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Class 5 Drivers Licence with clean driving record

Considered an Asset:

  • Project management skills and experience
  • Previous Residential solar service experience
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • Previous troubleshooting and/or technical support experience
