As a result of recent continuing growth and a strong pipeline of exciting new projects, Ethos Urban is seeking two Senior Statutory Planners to join our team in the Melbourne office.
Our ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and an interest in working within a consultancy business engaged in complex urban planning, development, or infrastructure projects. You will also be inquisitive, with an innate drive for learning and exploring, an outcomes-oriented attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and the passion and energy to thrive in a high performing organisation.

Key responsibilities
As a Senior Planner, you will:
Participate in all aspects of urban planning from proposal/EOI writing, research & analysis, report writing and client management. Including providing advice for a range of clients, developers, and government agencies.
Assist in the development of social strategy and policy advice for a range of clients including developers and government agencies, under the guidance of a Project Manager/ Director.
Work collaboratively across a wide range of projects and services across the organisation’s diversified portfolios, including as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
Develop your skills in project management, delegation, and supervision through managing junior staff members.
Develop a broader skillset through working side by side with economists, urban designers, social planners, project managers and community & stakeholder engagement professionals.
