The Senior Manager Supplier Quality is responsible for developing and executing of strategies to drive exceptional product quality, ensure compliance and increase customer satisfaction beyond expectations. This includes recruitment, training and development of a highly qualified team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE), managing supplier selection, supplier auditing, supplier development, and key Supplier Quality metric reporting to meet overall quality and business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:**
- Recruit, train and develop SQE-team and monitor individual and team performance
- Lead and direct Global Supplier Quality Engineer’s (SQE) activities focusing on supplier qualification, compliance management, supplier surveillance and quality initiatives
- Manage SQE resources to provide technical guidance to a global supplier base to assure product and process compliance
- Drive continuous improvement of supplier quality, cycle and delivery performance
- Monitor supplier compliance performance, drive root-cause analyses, corrective actions and process improvements to reduce the number of defects and cost of quality
- Drive consistency and adherence to global sourcing procedures and requirements
- Work effectively with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality and delivery of sourced components
- Initiate and support sourcing quality initiatives and metrics
- Set team objectives and goals that are aligned with those of the business
- Ensure Monthly Cost of Failure, # of Failures, and Vendor Recovery reporting is completed accurately and timely
- Establish a structured approach to improve quality assurance and drive consistency and adherence to quality procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5 years min working experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, quality or engineering, in an internationally operating company preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Waukesha Gas Engines products, engine components and their manufacturing processes, Waukesha business network, initiatives, programs and systems
- Proven track of successful leadership and project management assignments
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Strong technical and business acumen related to relevant industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Change agent and continuous improvement mindset
