About the role
GVI supports local organisations but also develops its own programs that aim to assist local communities by actively engaging with quality of life issues, such as childhood education and access to public health information. We want to grow/expand our contribution focusing on education, health, women's rights and empowerment for people of all ages but especially children. As well as develop strong, meaningful and long-lasting cooperation with local partners by supporting them to achieve their impact goals. Our Cambodia hub is tucked away from main roads and yet within walking distance of everyday amenities and the thriving town centre of Siem Reap.
The goal of the Senior Social Impact Manager is to develop and deliver ethical and impactful community programs and manage the hub's research and impact reporting. The role reports to the hub’s Program Manager and works closely with GVI’s global Social Impact Director. You will engage with our participants, ensure the hub has robust data collection and reporting systems in place, liaise with local partners, and write reports to communicate project results.
About you
You are passionate about tackling social issues, from health and education to human rights and social-economic development. You believe that how we measure and manage social impact is critical to ensuring sustainable development.
A self-starter who rolls up their sleeves to get things done, and enjoys tackling a wide variety of tasks as part of your day-to-day life. Also has the ability to deeply focus on a project and see it to the end.
