Do you have strong project management and organizational skills, and want to do good while also doing well? The GM of Fundraising and Engagement (F&E), a $130M business line growing 40% within Bonterra, is looking to add a Senior Project/Operations Manager to their team. In this role you will need to be adept at project management, working in a matrix organization structure, and leading and influencing cross-functional teams. As a member of the Fundraising and Engagement management team, you’ll get to work with and learn from tenured experts in both the SaaS and nonprofit sectors. Together we’ll win the market for Bonterra, but more importantly, you will help us empower over 1 million nonprofit leaders and people who fundraise.
Responsibilities
Manage project/initiative goal setting, plans, budget, risks, issues, status reporting, and accountability
Perform project audits on projects outside of F&E where there are key dependencies
Track and assist in follow up on key customer escalations
Organize and manage internal operations of the Fundraising and Engagement (F&E) team, reporting directly to the General Manager
Manage bi-weekly operations meetings and KPI reviews
Create documentation regarding internal operational processes
Continually look to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes
Reduce process errors, improve process results, save costs, and increase efficiency
Facilitate goal setting and OKRs including creating and maintaining systems of accountability
Manage internal and external communications for the Fundraising and Engagement team
Manage the F&E quarterly kick-offs and quarterly business review preparation process
Key Requirements
Bachelors or higher degree or equivalent experience
5+ years experience as a project manager, senior operations leader, or chief of staff
Ability to effectively interact with both junior staff and C-level executives
A knack for seeing process gaps and the root causes of cross-functional mis-alignment
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Unparalleled multi-tasking skills
Excellent organizing, communication and writing skills
Positive, supportive, and welcoming attitude for all members of the team
Comfortable in high-growth environment with a "grace-under-fire" personality when the pressure to deliver is high
