About the role
The role is responsible for leading the communications and marketing activities for the Digital Transformation Hub (www.digitaltransformation.org.au), primarily supporting communications across two streams of work:
- The Data Catalyst Network, which aims to strengthen the data maturity of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations across Australia, breaking break long-term cycles of disadvantage through effective use of data
- The Asia-Pacific Digital Transformation Program, which is working across 12 APAC countries to strengthen NFP digital capability.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategic communication and engagement plans for both the APAC Digital Transformation project and the Digital Catalyst Network project.
- Provide strategic and operational guidance to ensure project objectives are met within timelines and agreed budgets.
- Lead content creation activities that communicate the value of data and NFP technology to attract more NFPs into the programs and funds to support future programs. This includes:
- Analytics, infographics and public facing analysis (quarterly or better)
- Media articles and blogs (monthly or better)
- Act as an accessible, primary point of contact and informing on the progress of projects through regular reporting and consultation.
- Lead communications activities through our APAC outreach partners
- Lead the planning and implementation of the inaugural APAC Digital Transformation Regional Summit in Singapore (Oct/ Nov 2023)
Key selection criteria
To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:
- Ability to work to timelines and deliverables
- Ability to lead and manage projects schedules and key deliverables and within approved budget
- Familiarity and experience with technology and technology projects
- Familiarity with an international operating context and overseas markets and stakeholders for technology, digital services and event coordination
- Demonstrated skills in marketing and communications planning and implementation
- Event planning skills, international event planning would be an advantage
- Strong ability in stakeholder management and relations
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong organisational and personal management skills
- Knowledge or previous experience working in the not for profit and/or community services sector is highly valued
Additionally, experience working across the South East Asian region would be valuable.
Employment conditions
- Flexible location, but Melbourne, Victoria is preferred
- Expectation of two days per week in the Melbourne office location
- Terms and conditions as per employment contract.
- Standard hours as per contract, with some flexibility required.
- Must complete a criminal records check.
