Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to join our growing Carolinas Water Group with a focus on Stream Restoration, Storm Water, and Erosion Control design. This is a highly strategic career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual who is committed to providing exceptional client service, is passionate about growth, and excels at collaborating with our team of outstanding professionals. The candidate will have technical and market access responsibilities to assist on design projects for municipal clients.  In collaboration with local and national leaders, candidate will manage and leverage client relationships to position Dewberry to perform large and complex water projects. With collaborative support, successful candidate will lead business development activities, pursue new clients and potential project leads, and prepare qualifications and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Extensive technical experience in Stream Restoration, Storm Water, and Erosion Control
• Develops and maintains high-value client relationships
• Lead and participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
• Creates client action plans, to include client engagement and pre-positioning strategies
• Lead and facilitate engineering design staff.
• Work with design team across multiple offices and multiple disciplines to generate detailed design documents for construction plans.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering field or related field.
• NC Professional Engineering license.
• 15 years+ experience with progressive responsibilities for Stream Restoration, Storm Water, and Erosion Control
• Successful track record of maintaining relationships with clients in the NC or similar market.
• A successful track record of managing projects, including scope, schedule and budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Water/Wastewater Infrastructure or Treatment experience is a plus.
