SENIOR POLICY ADVISOR, TRADE & CLIMATE
E3G is looking for a Senior Policy Advisor to lead our work on the intersection between trade and climate policy. The role would be based in one of E3G’s European offices: London, Brussels or Berlin.

E3G is an independent climate change think tank with a global outlook. We are world leading strategists on the political economy of climate change, dedicated to achieving a safe climate for all.
Based in the Industry Transition and Trade team, this Senior Policy Advisor role will lead E3G’s work on green trade, working on the intersection of trade and climate policies in the EU and internationally. The role will combine thought leadership with political analysis and engagement.
The successful candidate will build out our strategy, identify priority interventions, and strengthen our network on trade. The role will require a deep understanding of the connections between trade and climate policy and a strong interest in the cross-cutting institutions and policies needed to deliver a climate-neutral European economy.

This role is offered on a permanent basis and is located in our London, Berlin or Brussels offices. E3G offers flexible working arrangements and operates a hybrid working approach.
E3G will require candidates to demonstrate that they have the right to live and work in the jurisdiction in which E3G employs them. E3G is unable to provide relocation assistance or visa support.
E3G offers a reward and benefit package which compares well with other organisations within our sector. Salary is up to £54,000 UK, €58,000 BE and €59,000 DE, per annum depending on experience. Benefits include additional paid leave; travel and hospitalisation insurance; additional pension contributions and mobile phone contract, subject to location.
