As a rapidly growing organisation, reach52 is actively seeking an experienced Senior Manager, People and Culture/Human Resources (‘P&C’ / ‘HR’) to cultivate a vibrant culture of fun, trust, impact, and performance across our diverse operational countries. This pivotal role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of inspiring, leading, and mentoring team members. The incumbent will spearhead the creation and implementation of a seamless and enriching experience throughout the entire employee life cycle.

Core Responsibilities
The core and responsibilities for this role will be:
- Driving the P&C strategy for talent attraction, development, and retention to align with reach52’s business strategy, roadmap, and growth plans, attracting individuals committed to creating health for all.
- Designing and implementing robust programs to creatively address business goals in areas like employee engagement, cohesion, resource optimization, fostering a strong organizational culture, and change management, contributing to a great workplace.
- Deeply understanding hiring needs and collaborating closely with management and business teams to fulfil immediate and mid-term staffing requirements for different functions.
- Continuously study and implement industry best practices and streamline workflows to improve overall P&C operations.
- Professionally managing sensitive employee relations issues, including: complaints, performance management, and conflict resolution, ensuring effective management.
- Advocating for and representing teams’ needs to management and senior leadership, fostering a learning environment for continuous improvement.
- Reviewing benefits programs, including Employee Stock Ownership Plan (‘ESOP’), managing performance appraisals, and addressing issues or suggestions from employee satisfaction surveys.
- Coaching, mentoring, and overseeing the career development of the team while promoting strong cross-functional relationships.
- Managing employee engagement and collaboration activities, promoting a positive work culture that includes various team-building events.
- Ensuring legal compliance across the human resource management function.
- Cultivating a consistently positive working environment within the People and Culture team and throughout reach52.
- Review and optimize employee grading system and salary structure.
- Maximize the usage of technology in day-to-day operations, such as the Office 365 suite and HR software, to ensure proper documentation and efficiency.

Person specification
The ideal candidate will likely possess:
- A degree in business management, social sciences or equivalent, coupled with 5-10 years of P&C/HR management experience, including building, leading, and evolving high-performing teams.
- Highly valued experience, in startups and the following industries (or similar):
- Pharmaceuticals
- Consumer Health/FMCG
- Healthcare/Digital Health/Public Health
- A modern P&C mindset, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and a culture of growth and empowerment, with evidence in implementing modern P&C solutions and programs.
- Experience in working with multiple markets/functions and operating in a regional P&C capacity, particularly within companies operating in Singapore, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Kenya and/or South Africa.
- Prior expertise in designing and implementing performance management programs, encompassing OKR and 360-degree feedback frameworks.
- Detailed and updated knowledge of P&C, labour, and other related matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong project management skills, process improvement capabilities, and leadership of cross-country teams to deliver impactful results within deadlines.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities for long-term positive outcomes.

- Strong mastery of the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
