Senior Management Analyst
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Sacred Heart Community Service (SHCS) located in San José, CA is looking for a multifaceted professional to support the Executive Director and Senior Management Team in advancing our vision mission and strategic plan objectives of moving low-income residents and their allies to get involved, build community, and
exercise power. The Senior Management Analyst coordinates the work of the Senior Management Team and
implements special projects. The position supports the development and implementation of a professional
development infrastructure for the organization. The goal is rooting an anti-racist learning culture focused on
challenging and changing economic, political, and cultural systems which have served to privilege some while oppressing many. The position assists efforts to center the voice of members in organizational decision- making. The person in this position must be highly organized and possess strong oral and written
communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly and creatively. The ideal candidate must be equally

approach of driving policy change through transformational leadership development, and developing
programs through an anti-racism and anti-oppression worldview. Position Summary
The Senior Management Analyst partners with the Executive Director to develop, implement, and evaluate
management systems to ensure the alignment of programs with Sacred Heart’s strategic and operating plans. The Analyst provides support to the Senior Management Team (Senior Team) including facilitation,
coordination, and project management of key initiatives, planning processes, team meetings, and retreats.
The position plays a leadership role in efforts of Senior Team to develop, implement, and evaluate systems
for orienting, training, coaching and mentoring staff, managers, and leaders in alignment with Sacred Heart’s
strategic and operating plans. This position is designed to analyze institutional needs, and pivot to address
organizational priorities by leading special projects and providing interim program management support as
needed. The position provides support to the Executive Director, and Board of Directors.
Description of Duties
Senior Team (30-40%)
Provides analysis, evaluation, and support for the development and implementation of management systems, structures, and policies.
Spearheads planning, execution, and follow-up of Senior Team meetings and retreats, including meeting facilitation, and the preparation and dissemination of meeting minutes as needed.
Leads project management for key initiatives and policy changes initiated by Senior Team, including planning, training, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinates continuous improvement of organizational policies and procedures, including stakeholder input and training.
Supports the development, analysis, presentation, and dissemination of program impact metrics and results to stakeholders.
Supports the development of strategic and operating plans, with an emphasis on organizational stakeholder engagement and feedback.
Organizational Development (20-30%)
Provides leadership in staff professional development and member leadership development efforts, including planning, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of staff meetings, retreats, Solidarity Summit, and special trainings. Supports the Director of Organizational Development Director in research, reporting, and analysis of organizational development impact metrics, including training support for Senior Team members and managers to enter, use, and learn from data.

Supports staff wellness activities, including workshops, staff appreciation, team building, and support
systems
Special Projects (20-25%)
Supports the development and implementation of special projects and events, including creation and monitoring timelines and work plans.
Provides interim program management and leadership, as needed, including structure, supervision, support, training, evaluation, and professional development.
Coordinates research, program design, outreach, partner cultivation, fund development of new programs and collaborations.
Manages or supports special projects by providing direction, structure, facilitation, training, support, and feedback to assigned project team.
Leadership (15-20%)
Supports the coordination planning, facilitation, and administration of Board of Directors meetings and Board subcommittees as assigned.
Spearheads development, tracking, and reporting of Board operating plan.
Supports Associate Director in efforts to cultivate member voice in organizational decision-making including direct support for Leadership Council and member feedback systems as needed.
Supports the planning and implementation of SHCS programs, events, training, and outreach efforts.
Serves as member of Senior Team and Emergency Response Team.
Provides administrative support to the Executive Director.
Attends Board subcommittees and Advisory Committees as assigned.
Supports Administrative Analysts in data analysis and systems, building out organizational policies, and special projects
Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensati****on
The salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range is $85,000-$95,000 per year. Excellent benefits include fully paid medical insurance for employees and majority paid medical insurance for
