Job overview at a glance

ELEVATE is looking for Lead Assessor for Japan office with an excellent opportunity to work in a multinational organization, that is growing consistently and rapidly. A lead / senior assessor will be expected to review and analyze facility practices against local laws, client codes of conduct (COC), and best practices at a social compliance assessment. A social compliance assessment is to assess the labor, environmental, health & safety conditions, business ethics in manufacturing settings across industries, such as food, apparel, and electronics etc.

Responsibilities

The specific roles and responsibilities of a lead / senior assessor are outlined as below:

Conduct pre-assessment calls and communications with facility;
Perform social compliance assessment based on confirmed schedule with the following processes;
- Conduct opening meeting with management outlining assessment scope and client expectations,
- Interview management to understand facility practices,
- Conduct facility walkthrough to observe facility practices,
- Review documentation that demonstrates facility practices,
- Interview workers in a sensitive but impartial way to verify and explore facility practices,
- Triangulate data across different data sources to come up with a consolidated conclusion on facility practices,
- Present results to facility management in a sensitive and transparent way at closing meeting.
Write comprehensive report after each assessment in English as well as Japanese, in a timely and accurate manner;
Perform root cause analysis and support facility develop corrective action plan (CAP) on assessment findings;
Provide client and facility necessary clarification in a professional, timely, and accurate manner as needed.
Meet ELEVATE quality performance KPIs.
Support other projects as assigned by the company, such as client meetings, workshops, facility consulting, etc.

Qualifications

University graduate, major in Law, Safety engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical, Textile or electronic related discipline.
Three years or above CSR related, facility consulting or EHS management working experience.
Good command of reading, writing and speaking of English.
Familiar with Japanese labor, health and safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
Ability to travel frequently.
Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Proactive, open-minded, good at learning, able to work under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Uphold Highest standards on integrity and ethics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
APSCA, BSCI, RBA (EICC) accredited auditor is preferred.

ELEVATEでは、一貫して急成長している多国籍企業で働く絶好の機会として、日本オフィスのリード監査人を募集しています。リード/シニア監査人は、社会コンプライアンス監査において、現地の法律、クライアントの行動規範（COC）、ベストプラクティスに照らして施設の運営方法を審査・分析することが期待されます。社会コンプライアンス監査とは、食品、アパレル、エレクトロニクスなど様々な業界の製造現場における労働、環境、安全衛生、企業倫理のアセスメントを行うことです。

仕事内容

リード/シニア監査人の具体的な役割は、以下のとおりです：

監査前に「pre-assessment call」を実施、あるいは施設とコミュニケーションする。

確認されたスケジュールに基づき、以下のプロセスで社会コンプライアンス監査を実施する；

・監査範囲とクライアントの期待を説明する管理層とのオープニングミーティングを実施する。

・施設のプラクティスを理解するために管理層にインタビューする

・施設のプラクティスを観察するために、現場ツアーを実施する

・施設のプラクティスを証明する書類を確認する

・施設のプラクティスを検証し、調査するために、敏感でありながら公平な方法で従業員にインタビューを行う

・異なるデータソースを三角測量による調査を実施し、施設のプラクティスに関する総合的な結論を導き出す

・クロージング・ミーティングで、繊細かつ透明性のある方法で、結果を施設管理者に提示する

監査が実施された後に、総合的な報告書を英語と日本語で、タイムリーかつ正確に作成する；

監査の結果について、根本原因を分析し、施設の是正措置計画（CAP）をサポートする；

クライアントと施設に必要な説明を、専門的かつタイムリーで正確な説明で提供する；

ELEVATEの品質パフォーマンスKPIを達成する；

クライアントとのミーティング、ワークショップ、施設コンサルティングなど、会社から指定れたその他のプロジェクトをサポートする。

応募資格

大学卒業、法学、安全工学、環境工学、化学、繊維、電子関連の学科を専攻していること。

CSR関連、設備コンサルティング、EHSマネジメントの実務経験（3年以上）。

英語の読み、書き、会話に長けていること。

日本の労働、安全衛生、環境に関する法令に精通していること。

頻繁な出張が可能な方

高い倫理観を持ち、誠実であること。

Microsoft Word、Excel、Outlookを使いこなせること。
