Dewberry’s Architecture Team is seeking an energetic Interior Designer with well-rounded experience to join our Houston, TX office. Experience in Commercial and Corporate building types is desirable. This position requires a minimum of 10 years overall experience where you will develop and execute appropriate design solutions as well as have overall project responsibility for client satisfaction, and quality control.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they are able to collaborate on single or multiple interiors projects, including all phases of design. Develop space plan concepts and generate program/construction documents. Participate in selection of FF&E, color palettes, material selections, furniture systems and specifications. Provide project team coordination for the drawings, specifications and materials. Provide expertise in material selections. Prepare contract documents and work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives. Review work of consultants for coordination purposes. Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and samples and assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
