ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Integrations Developer, you possess a strong combination of development and integration skills with a particular focus on the MuleSoft Anypoint platform. You will be hands-on, designing and implementing key integrations across our IT landscape. Your work will enable seamless data and process flow between our systems and applications, supporting our strategic business objectives. You will partner with both technical and business stakeholders, providing advice on industry and implementation best practices.
This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to our Director of IT. This position is a remote role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop, test, and maintain integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions
- Follow best practices and standards for integration development and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in development, testing, and production environments
- Document the design and functionality of each integration for reference and training purposes
- Work with the IT team to ensure the integration solutions align with the overall IT architecture and business strategy
- Evaluate and recommend new integration technologies and tools to improve integration capabilities
- Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on integration development
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform and MuleSoft development with 3+ years of experience on the platform
- Experience with APIs, ESBs, and other integration technologies
- Understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of API security standards and protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages (like Java, .NET, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong knowledge of data mapping and transformation techniques
- Familiar with data warehouse solutions (such as Snowflake) and best practices
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, etc.)
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git/GitHub
- Understanding of event-driven and message-driven architectures
- Knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Good documentation practices
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- MuleSoft Developer certification preferred (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer - Integration and API Associate, MuleSoft Certified Developer - Integration Professional)
- Salesforce Development (Apex) is a plus but not required
HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS
Within the first 30 days
- Understand our IT landscape, integration requirements, and current MuleSoft implementations
- Start working on existing integration projects, propose improvements, and understand business needs
- Understand the state of our current integrations project portfolio
Within the first 90 days
- Take ownership of managing/administering our MuleSoft Anypoint platform
- Take point on new MuleSoft integration projects and start delivering solutions
Within the first 6 months
- Establish yourself as the go-to person for MuleSoft integrations, contributing significantly to our integration capabilities
- Develop a robust monitoring and alerting system for integrations to identify and resolve any potential issues quickly
- Successfully lead at least one integration project that will demonstrate improvement in data flow and business process efficiency
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation: The starting base pay for this position is $118,000 to $151,000 in the US. The total compensation package for the successful candidate in this role may exceed the base pay as it includes other incentive pay. The base pay is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
