Greenpeace International is looking for a Senior Insights Analyst who specialises in campaigns.
This is an analyst position in our Data Team who is responsible for the ‘Data Domain’ of Campaigning, which specifically includes media & social media, digital marketing and web analytics.
Each year over 100 million people engage with Greenpeace as a part of our global campaign work, Senior Insights Analyst - Campaigns works with the highest priority global initiatives and helps to support this critical work and our local offices implementing it.
As part of the larger Data, Insights and Engineering teams at Greenpeace International you’ll help modernise and redefine how data is used to create meaningful change in the world.
Our data teams strive to provide a broad approach to data work in support of our regional offices; through building as well as supporting data tools & platforms, standards & Governance, convening trainings & communities for specialists, as well as consulting and advising.

The Insight Analyst conducts campaign (social/ media, fundraising, mobilisation) analyses in order to track progress of our engagement & communication strategies and identify best practices, risks or new opportunities.
Remember no one has every skill or experience needed for this role and you’ll have the opportunity to learn a lot from the team. We believe someone who has a few of these is well suited to exceed in this role:
Ability to give strategic communication advice for campaigns, based on insights from Business & Media Intelligence
Experience with media & social media analysis
Knowledge of international media landscapes
Experience with content analysis, message testing, and social media advertising
Experience with evaluating campaign performance, based on various data points
Experience in connecting various datasets, and working with complex metrics
Expert level understanding of data analytics, engagement data types and appropriate KPI’s.
Basic knowledge of data analysis programming languages: Visual Basic, SQL language and/or Python is preferred
Experience in working with multicultural senior staff and teams and across borders.
